Bexhill Senior Citizens Club - June 20
The return coach journey was made additionally comfortable with the distribution of complementary drinks of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soup. A very hearty vote of thanks was offered to the organisers Jim and Kathleen Haggata for yet another thoroughly enjoyable day out.
The club has planned a very busy programme of summer and autumn events. As well as all the usual activities of art, bingo, bridge and whist, computer classes, creative writing, American dominoes, choir, keep-fit for ladies, mat bowls and various indoor games, there is also now a very popular monthly social evening held on the last Friday evening of each month. The evening offers a variety of entertainment eg. dancing and a quiz as well as opportunities to play pool, table tennis, darts, etc.

Next month, July 3, at 2pm, the club looks forward to the choir's summer concert, led by our new club chairman Janet Szajer, who is also the choir-mistress.
Other forthcoming events include a three-day mini cruise to Spain, a September Grand Sale with lots and lots of real bargains to snap up, and a November winter holiday, bookings for which are being taken now.
There will also be an Open Day in the near future a good opportunity to come along and look around the newly, and ongoing, refurbished friendly club with its library, coffee lounge (where daily light tasty lunches are on sale at very reasonable prices), and the large hall with its stage facilities, and a whole lot more.
