A fun-filled and enjoyable fast-moving fun adult pantoat St Mary in the Castle
One such adult pantomime is Charming Dick which took to the stage at St Mary in the Castle here in the Hastings.
It was run on a shoe-string with little props and little stage set but this wasn’t a problem because it was the jokes that people had come out for.

Hide AdThe panto was put on by the Vauxhall Tavern, which they are proud to stress is their ninth year of doing so.
Written by Paul Emelion Daly directed by Tim McArthur and produced by Catia Ciarico this was a fun-filled innuendo packed fast-moving panto with only four players and yet had the large audience in stitches.
The four artists sang very well and songs such as Prince Charming, Save Your Kisses For Me and Do You Want To Build A Snowman were delivered effortlessly.
The highlight for me was a hilarious rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas, complete with various props.

Hide AdThe big letdown of the night was the sound quality which meant the actors had occasional problems with their microphones, but other than that all four of the performers, Topsie Redfern, Vinegar Strokes, Faye Reeves, Chris Draper and Martin Fitch, played their parts very well. An enjoyable evening.
