VIDEO: All Creatures Great and Small actor cuts ribbon at Warnham Mill Veterinary Surgery opening
Christopher Timothy, who played James Herriot in the BBC series All Creatures Great and Small, was on hand to open the new practice off the B2237 Warnham Road.
The mill, which is believed to have been built in 1588 and restored some years later, ceased practice as a working mill in 1932.
Since then the building has only been used intermittently.

Local people and Tanbridge House School pupils were invited to the grand opening on Friday.
Julian Peters, owner of Arthur Lodge Veterinary Group, said: “I have been wanting to open a new practice for a while. We mix old-fashioned service with state-of-the art technology and this building seemed to fit perfectly into that ethos.”
