Rottingdean – Bazehill Road – Balsdean Valley – Pickers Hill – Telscombe Village – Telscombe Tye – Saltdean – Undercliff Walk – Rottingdean. 8 miles. Please bring a picnic lunch. Pub lunch if required at the Prince of Wales, West End or picnic by the village pond. If driving, there is a free car park just off the A244 after Oxshott station, should be about 45 minute drive from Haywards Heath. Sunday April 20, 10.30am: Meet in the small car park at the side of the Magistrates Court in Mark Cross almost opposite the Mark Cross Inn. (Explorer map: 135/TQ 582312) Walk via Mark Cross, Stone House Farm, Little Danegate, Earlye Farm, Best Beech Hill (L), Towngate Farm, Lake Farm, Mark Cross. 12 miles over varied ground. Note: Longer morning than afternoon.
