The Wickham Arms in Bognor Road made the sad announcement on social media recently and announced this week the search has begun to find new people to take over.
Landlord Marshall Mahendran told disappointed punters the boozer would be shutting after nearly three years.

Hide AdHe said: "It is with great sadness the we have to advise Ian and I have had to close The Wickham Arms, and have asked the brewery to find new tenants.
"Thank you to all the support and great times we have had over the almost last three years. Goodbye."
Marshall and his partner Ian took over the 200-year-old watering hole in March 2019 and have now asked for the brewery, Fullers, to start looking for new tenants to take over.
Discussions have begun on the pub's Facebook page with a number of people making enquiries.

Hide AdIn a series of Facebook posts in 2020 Marshall told followers the pub was in an 'extremely difficult financial situation' and said 'fed up' with customers flouting new Covid-19 safety measures.
