Hermione is a 400m hurdler, living and training in Birmingham and has always been happiest when involved in high level competitive sport, particularly when involved in athletics.
After recovering from a major back injury which she sustained in 2015, she qualified for the 2017 British trials, achieving sixth place in her heat.

Hide AdHermione has returned to full fitness and is aiming to continue her sporting career, hopefully representing the UK at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
The Castlewood Sports For Champions Day started with each class participating in a lively and motivating fitness session.
The exercises included spotty dogs for fine tuning coordination, leg drives to build core and leg strength, press ups for upper body strength and star jumps to improve cardiovascular health.
In the assembly that followed, Hermione talked about her achievements, her training schedule, nutrition and her commitment to her sport.

Hide AdEmma, from year five, said: ”Hermione told us that she has to train every day.
“She lifts weights and must eat healthily.”
The children at Castlewood were sponsored to take part in the fitness day, raising a total of £1,083 for the school.
Georgina Richardson, PE co-ordinator, said, “Visits of this nature are so inspiring for the children, showing them that hard work and commitment are important.
“Thank you to everyone who sponsored the children to raise such a marvellous amount for school funds as well as supporting an athlete.”
