Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.
In Chichester, 52,013 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between 8th December 2020 and 28th February 2021 including 24,859 over 70s.
In December the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advised that care home residents should be prioritised for a vaccine to prevent further deaths, followed by over 80s, over 75s and then over 70s.
This was alongside healthcare staff.
The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.
Here we reveal which areas in Chichester have the highest and lowest vaccine uptake in the over 70s.
The figures show the number of residents aged over 70 who have had their first jab, and also gives the overall percentage of people aged 70+ in the area who have vaccinated.
This ranges from 90 per cent to 100 per cent.
