Eastbourne social worker faces misconduct hearing
Alison Jean Gulliver who worked as a social worker for East Sussex County Council, faces accusations that her fitness to practice has been impaired due to the alleged misconduct.
Social Work England, the regulator for the industry, has the remote hearing listed to start on Thursday April 22 and could last up to five days.

Hide AdThe allegations are that while Alison Jean Gulliver was employed by the county council she did not declare her own private business and that of another person, that she demonstrated poor professional judgement by undertaking work in relation to her private business, sought to recommend another business for a service user of the council, breached confidentiality by sending sensitive information to her private email address on two occasions in 2014 and 2016 and to the other business’s private email address in 2015.
The actions have been alleged by Social Work England as dishonest and that the matters alleged amount to misconduct.
