Beach Dreams Festival logo chosen
The winner of the logo competition, five-year-old Mackenzie Rice, a pupil at Shoreham Beach Primary School, was presented with his prize at the fundraising White Party last Saturday.
His picture was chosen in a public vote and graphic designer Dan Hills created the logo from it, sticking closely to the original design.

Festival organiser Sarah Parker said the committee had spoken about it and agreed to follow the original writing, which had worked well in the finished product.
Mackenzie’s mum explained he was left handed, so some of his letters were often written back to front.
Adur Council chairman Mike Mendoza presented Mackenzie with a canvas of his design at Sussex Yacht Club, where Shoreham band Eel Fish Parsley and local DJs entertained partygoers.
There was also a giant raffle, with prizes presented by Mr Mendoza, to raise money for this year’s festival in June.
