Bars and restaurants form part of the leisure package as well. A new library could also be built there.
On top will be 168 flats in a development going up some seven storeys.

Hide AdThe opposite side of the beach would see an eye-catching building with a restaurant on the first floor and some small shops possibly below.
The company wants to close part of The Esplanade in front of the site to create a pedestrian area and link the seafront more with the town centre.
For the Hothamton car park off Queensway, St Modwen plans 20,000sq ft of offices, a new health centre and a sizeable food store with a quality national operator promised. The scheme would also comprise a 30-storey block of some 180 flats to create a new landmark for Bognor.
More public parking is promised overall for both sites than the current amount.
