Bootsie the dog stolen from outside Brighton supermarket

The Patterdale Terrier, Bootsie, had been tied up outside Asda in Marina Square around 9pm on Thursday (May 31).
But when Bootsie's owner returned with her shopping, she discovered the dog had been taken.

He is described as a white man, 5’ 8”, in his mid-30s and with a brown beard. He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and a beige baseball cap with sunglasses on top.
Police Constable Andrew Misrahi said: “Bootsie is a rescue dog and plays a vital role in the owner’s life in providing support and companionship.
“The owner is, understandably, very upset about the incident.
