BREAKING NEWS: Plane lands in Littlehampton’s river

Hundreds of people lined the banks of the river to watch as pilot John Russell landed his single-engine vehicle on the water.
It’s the first time in years that a plane has successfully landed in the Arun.

Hide AdThe stunt was all part of the Littlehampton Waterfront Festival which is continuing right throughout the day.

The event is showcasing the many groups and services who use the river from the Arun Youth Aqua Centre to town’s lifeboat station, run by the RNLI.
