Christmas rubbish collections
RECYCLING and waste collection days will change over the Christmas and New Year period.
Adur and Worthing councils’ contractors will not be making collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day or at weekends Normal collection days will then slip on to the next day. Excess waste will be taken up to and including January 6. Food waste should be put in black sacks inside bins to deter vermin and non-food waste can be placed in bags or black sacks on the ground next to the bins.
