Adam Box, 18, of Valebridge Road, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for six months, with a £240 fine, a £30 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, driving without a licence, and failing to stop after an accident, in Coopers Close, Burgess Hill.
Steven Sibley, 23, of New England Road, Haywards Heath, was given a community order with £3,692 compensation, an £85 victim services surcharge, and £350 costs.

Hide AdHe had pleaded guilty to theft of a statue from Nymans in Handcross.
Samuel Weller, 20, of Eastdale Road, Burgess Hill, was given a nine month conditional discharge, with a £20 victim services surcharge, and £40 costs.
He had pleaded guilty to attempting to steal diesel from a building site in Kings Way, Burgess Hill, and to possessing containers to be used for the theft of diesel.
