Crawley murder investigation: chief of police criticises social media jokes
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, a 24-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene in Watson Close, Maidenbower.
Seven people have so far been arrested in connection with the incident, and all remained in custody at 1pm on Friday (November 16).

Hide AdClick here to read the full storySpeaking last night, Crawley district commander, Chief Inspector Rosie Ross praised her officers' dedication.
She said: "My officers worked so hard through the night, or returned with little rest to help.
"Some really positive comments by residents about police and our response."
However she also hit out at those who used the incident as an excuse to criticise police.
Ch Insp Ross added: "Shame on those who use this to take the opportunity on social media to have a go or make a joke about police. #KeepingPeopleSafe"
