Horsham chippy owner attacked in row over tomato sauce
Police say that the violent attack happened at Oceans Fish Bar in New Street, Horsham, at around 7.20pm on November 5.
Staff asked the men to leave the chippy after they became abusive. but, said a police spokesman “they returned and got the owner in a headlock and punched him in the face. They then ran off towards Livingstone Road.”

Hide AdThe first man is described as white, aged in his early 20s, 5’ 4” tall, fat, with blond curly hair and was wearing a blue shirt and a dark navy coat. The second man is said to be white, 5’ 5” tall, skinny, with short brown hair, a spotty complexion and was wearing a grey hooded top with a red logo and a black coat.
PC Bryony McIndoe said: “This was an unprovoked attack which left the victim with severe bruising to his face. We would like to hear from anyone who recognises these suspects or has any information about them.”
