Sniffer dogs help in murder investigation
After police received an anonymous tip off that the body of Mark Manning, 54, of Brighton Road in Lancing, could be found by Brooklands Pleasure Park in Worthing, the area is being thoroughly scoured since this morning (Tuesday April 28).
Sgt Chris Sutherland said the victim recovery dogs are specially trained to detect human remains.

Hide AdHe said: “They are trained in all sorts of detection like human remains, blood and other bodily fluids.”
Police search advisor Sgt Russell Phillips said that if the dogs find anything it will go straight to forensics.
Mark was last seen on April 19 2014 before his family reported him missing on April 22. They said it was completely out of character for him to disappear.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
