Worthing ambulance and staff vehicles have tyres slashed after 12-hour shift

A tweet from South East Coast Ambulance Service this afternoon (December 11) said staff were ‘very disappointed and saddened’ to find tyres on five staff vehicles and one response car had been slashed.
They had returned to the station at the end of a 12-hour shift, the tweet said.

Hide AdA spokesman for SECAMb said: “We are extremely disappointed and saddened to hear of these incidents which obviously demoralised our committed staff at the end their long shift and especially in respect of the ambulance car put lives at risk.
“We would urge anyone to come forward with information by contacting Sussex Police on 101.”
Staff from Worthing Ambulance Station released a special Christmas video earlier this week thanking people for their support, showing the people behind the masks.
