Diamond jubilee celebrated
Along with the flower displays which were shown in the church, several nearby gardens opened for the celebrations.
Beverley Miles, the Reverend at All Saints Church, said: “The theme of the flower festival was of course the diamond jubilee, and the displays that were contributed represented people’s favourite hymns of the last 60 years.

“The flower festival was wonderful, and we had a steady stream of people coming to see the displays.
“Celia Berrett and Glenda Hill organised the flower displays, some of which were contribed by Brownies and the WI, organisations associated with the Church.
“We are very grateful to our sponsors and the business who supported us.”
