Ditchling Pre School Christmas Fair: Saturday 3 December from 10am -2pm in the Village Hall. Come along and join in the festive fun. There is a lot on offer including Santa’s Grotto (11am-1pm), Christmas gifts, kid’s crafts and games, tombola, Christmas wreaths and decorations, mulled wine, raffle and a cafe serving lunch and delicious cakes. The Fair entry is just £1.50 per family.
Ditchling Film Society: Tonight, Thursday 1 December, the Society is showing Rams. Director: Grimur Hakonarson. Icelandic. 2015. 93 mins. 15 Cert. Seasonal mulled wine and mince pies will be served to get the Christmas festivities off to a good start. The first film in January 2017 is on Thursday 12 January and is Bridge of Spies. Director: Steven Spielberg. English, German, Russian. 2015. 142 mins. 12A Cert. Films are shown in Ditchling Village Hall and start at 8pm. Doors open at 7.30pm. Free coffee and biscuits beforehand and wine can be purchased. Guests and temporary members are welcome for the sum of £5 payable at the door.

Hide AdJazz Evening: on Friday 2 December raising funds for the Neo Natal Unit at Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath. Tickets available from Mike Lavelle on 01444 831475 or Ditchling Post Office. This is a fundraising event organised by the Friends of the Princess Royal Hospital and is taking place in Ditchling Village Hall.
Christmas Concert: Enjoy an evening of music with the Vivace Choir on Thursday 15 December. Raising funds for our local hospice, St Peter and St James, tickets , £10, are available from Carol Hughes on 01444 470811 or email [email protected]. The concert is taking place at Danny House, Hurstpierpoint and doors open at 7pm.
