A multi-agency emergency service response was called to reports of a ‘dangerous structure’ in Eastbourne on February 4.
East Sussex fire crews and Sussex Police were called to a church in Cavendish Place in the town.
Crews were pictured using a ladder to reach a spire on the building.

Hide AdA spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said, “At 3.22pm, we were called to attend a church on Cavendish Place following reports of a dangerous structure. Firefighters used an aerial ladder platform to secure the dangerous structure and handed over the incident to a building inspector.”
