Flower and embroidery festival planned at St Michael's
From Wednesday, September 24 to Monday, September 29, the church will host a flower festival combined with a retrospective exhibition covering Marion Cantrell's 40 years as an ecclesiastical embroiderer.
The floral arrangements will complement the many vestments and banners Marion has made over four decades.

Hide AdThe festival will open after the 11am Eucharist on September 24 and will culminate in a festival sung eucharist of for St Michael and All Angels at 7.30pm on Monday, September 29, Michaelmas Day.
Festival opening times will be noon to 5pm on the opening day; 10am to 5pm on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday plus a Saturday evening opening from 7pm to 9pm with refreshments available.
Opening on the Sunday will be from noon to 5pm and on the final day from 10am to 4pm.
