A message on the funding site reads: “Please give as much or as little as you can spare and help us leave a lasting tribute to such a special little girl. We hope this fund will help create a lasting legacy for and in the name of a special daughter.
Lyndsey said: “I would like to thank everyone who has given so generously in my daughter’s name.
The fund looks set to receive a big boost with Northiam Bonfire Society announcing it will donate money raised from the event, which takes place on Saturday October 4.
Mary would have celebrated her eighth birthday last week.

It emerged this week that Lyndsey was living in a safe refuge at Camber with Mary and her older brother Stephen but was moved to Northiam by the local authorities after the Camber address had somehow been leaked.
It was believed the family would be safer in Northiam.
