Sussex Search and Rescue, the primary volunteer resource used by Sussex Police to search for and rescue vulnerable missing persons, will put its money towards a new generator for its incident control vehicle.
Littlehampton-based disability awareness charity Enable Me will use its donation for volunteer expenses and induction training, and Wick Information Centre’s will go towards rental costs.
The remainder will be given to other charities and also funded Christmas food parcels for the elderly and housebound.
