The new brown sign which greets drivers as they travel along the A259 from the east welcomes them to 'Felpham Bognor Regis seaside resort'.
The white sign it replaced, which was damaged when a vehicle collided with it, had stood on the kerbside since the 1990s and stated 'Felpham AND Bognor Regis'.

Hide AdFelpham Parish Council members have agreed to ask highways officers at West Sussex County Council to install a new sign with the correct wording.
Cllr Mary Harvey said: "We should have a nice clear sign. The sign should have been replaced like for like rather than with a cheap brown thing."
