Husband concerned over pathway safety in Lancing
The wife of 67-year-old Patrick St John-Caleb, of Brighton Road, Lancing, suffered a fractured skull in August while walking to a bus stop. As she crossed Brighton Road at the junction with Western Road a cyclist crashed into her knocking her off her feet.
Patrick said: “She won’t cross the road there now, she would rather walk up the road and cross somewhere else because she is so apprehensive. Every time she sees a bike coming from Worthing she is terrified.

“It’s not going to cost millions all they have got to do is make some concessions. It’s an accident waiting to happen.”
