Ice rink to return in November
The rink will be open to the public on Friday November 11 and will stay throughout the festive period before it closes on Monday February 27.
Worthing Pier’s Southern Pavilion has continued to sponsor the ice rink after taking over in January 2014.

“The ice rink is beneficial to the whole of Worthing because it is central and it brings people into the town.
“Especially after Christmas, it is important to attract people to Worthing who put money into the community by shopping and parking here.
“We took over the ice rink in 2014 and decided to put a marquee over the top because then we don’t have to rely on the weather and people could just enjoy themselves.

Mr Duckett added: “It is good for parents to know that they can send their children to the ice rink in the winter and they will be safe.
“It is a win win situation really. I can’t think of any negatives.”
The ice rink will be open to people of all ice skating abilities over the age of four and a colony of penguins will be on hand to assist younger skaters.
