John's winning pic shouts fun....
The Love Sussex competition is organised by print and design specialists Evonprint. Managing director Steve Rowland, says they received over 70 entries making the judging process tough. “We had a great response with some outstanding entries, “ he said. “Choosing just thirteen was difficult but we are very pleased with our final decisions.”
Budding Sussex photographers were asked to enter images that best depicted the theme of ‘having fun in Sussex’. The thirteen photos chosen are now being made into 2017 calendars for the You Raise Me Up charity to sell. The charity offers financial and emotional support to families that have lost a young adult between the ages of 16-25.

I immediately thought of my image and this for me just shouted fun. To my delight it was one of the selected images to appear.”
Competition winners also received a hamper of goodies, a years membership to English Heritage, tripod, camera mug, and mini prosecco.
Jane Brooks, Trustee of You Raise Me Up said: “Thank you to those who entered such lovely images to create a fantastic and very sellable calendar.”
The calendar costs £5.00, and is available from November at You Raise Me Up’s coffee shop, 3 Millfields, Polegate, Eastbourne and Facebook page @You Raise Me Up.
