Lifeboat goes to aid of yacht
RYE Harbour Lifeboat was called out to a yacht which had suffered engine failure off Rye at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
The lifeboat towed the yacht safely back to her moorings at Rye .
Richard Tollett, from the Lifeboat, said: “Our volunteer crews train on a regular basis so that they are prepared for any situation. RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 140,000 lives since the RNLI was formed.”
