Man arrested after Eastbourne armed robbery

Police say that at about 7.40pm on Tuesday (April 5), a man in possession of what is believed to be a firearm walked in to the Ladbrokes in Carlisle Road and demanded money.
He is thought to have escaped with more than £1,000 in cash.

Hide AdA 30-year-old man from Eastbourne has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
He has been remanded in custody pending further enquiries.
