Seals are fairly common these days off the East Sussex coast.
Rescuers from the East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service are joining forces with colleague from British Divers Marine Life Rescue to learn how to deal with them safely.

Trevor Weeks, Alec Anscombe and two other medics are visiting a seal hospital near Oban as well as two other seal rescue centres in Scotland to gain experience and knowledge.
Last week the medics were monitoring a seal in the River Ouse between Lewes and Newhaven and recently a harbour seal pup was rescued on Hastings beach.
'The trip will be extremely valuable in helping us gain experience with some of the most experienced seal rescuers in the country,' said Mr Wicks.
