Missing the last train proved costly
Craig Yeo, of Elderwood Close, was fined 150 by Hastings magistrates and will have any future driving licence endorsed with six points.
He was stopped during a routine road policing check in Battle High Street on October 27.

Hide AdYeo, 19, first told the arresting officer he had a provisional licence and he was insured as a named driver on the Peugeot 106 he was driving.
He also said his passenger was supervising him.
Checks revealed he did not possess a licence, he was uninsured on the car and his passenger had not been driving long enough to monitor a learner in any event.
Yeo told the court: "I wanted to get to Bexhill and had missed the last train."
