New Australasian zone to open at nature centre
Keen-eyed visitors have already noticed some changes with more outbuildings, avaries and paddocks being put up.
The new zone is due to officially open on April 2.
Bouncy new parma wallabies and pink galahs - a type of cockatoo - have been exploring their surroundings as they wait for their new enclosures to be finished so they can move in.

Shelia is said to be very friendly and will even eat crickets out of the hands of her keepers.
She is also nosey and enjoys watching the builders as they get to work on the new enclosures.
Shelia is soon to be joined by some other emus who are moving from Wales to the nature centre.
