Important news for business and youth
This is just one example of the Chamber implementing its strategy that consists of 3 core areas: Bexhill for Business, Regeneration and Tourism and Skills Building.
These 3 keys areas were outlined in September 2015. Chamber President, Martin Riley, gave a progress update on achieving these aims at this month’s breakfast which was held at the Bexhill Museum on 1 April.

Hide AdMartin’s update covered various different projects, either supported or initiated by the chamber, which complement the strategic aims. This included initiatives to boost membership such as increasing and reinventing networking opportunities, the excellent work being done to help ensure the high speed trains come to Bexhill, plus the involvement with the Retail Trust which helps local young people set up a career in a retail environment.
In addition to supporting a variety of projects, the Chamber is getting ready to support and enjoy another Summer of brilliant events in Bexhill. This starts with the Roaring 20’s, followed by Motofest and the Festival of the Sea. The Chamber offers financial aid to all these events which are becoming much anticipated annual fixtures in Bexhill and attract many visitors to the town.
If all the positive action highlighted above sounds like the kind of thing you would like your business to be involved in, then I urge you to join the Bexhill Chamber of Commerce.
