Age UK West Sussex is appealing for extra support to come forward and back its home visiting service.
The scheme is aimed at older people who have become socially isolated and lonely, and who would benefit from social contact and companionship through weekly home visits.
Volunteers would visit a client in their own home and provide this companionship and support. This could be having a cup of tea and a chat, playing games like Scrabble, cards, crosswords, or just looking through photos and going for a stroll.

This could include news reviews, board games or music.
