LETTER: Confused over '˜impartiality'
I have now received a Home Office reply which surprisingly includes the following statement, “While it would be inappropriate of us to comment on what might possibly happen should the UK vote to leave the European Union, you can find impartial information about this situation at the link provided below: http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/offices/commons/commonslibrary/commons-library-news/eu-referendum-page/.”
If it is not appropriate to comment regarding leaving the EU why then offer a government website about this and claim it to be impartial especially as the government appears to have decided by issuing a booklet full of glossy photographs and with a distinct bias in one direction?

Hide AdTo me it does not make sense. Unfortunately I do not have an internet connection so cannot see what the government states as “impartial”. It all leaves me very confused and I wonder what happened to integrity, honesty and morality. I await with interest a reply from the Foreign Office who, I am advised, have received a copy of my letter. I only asked the Prime Minister for the truth – silly me!
