Church holds three-day ‘Holiday at Home’ activity
This was mainly for elderly folk especially those living alone and those who rarely get away, also for the visually impaired from the craft club that the church runs in partnership with 4Sight.
The event gave those attending, for a very modest outlay, an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and outings including flower arranging, games, knitting, carpet bowls, armchair aerobics and hand massages as well as listening to a professional story teller and participating in a drumming and percussion workshop.

Each day a home cooked lunch was provided. Outings included a visit to Sumner Ponds, The Victorian Music Room at Bucks Green and a whole day outing to Worthing.
Many expressions of appreciations have been received from the 41 guests participating in all three days. As a Christian Community we are committed to living out our faith and we believe that this time together enabled us to share Gods love with each person in a practical way.
