'First-class' delivery leaves a lot to be desired
I wish the reliability of distribution he referred to extended to letters, also.
Out of the last eight letters I have sent by recorded delivery, only four have reached their destination.

Hide AdI gave up completing the complaints form after the second loss, as Royal Mail did not seem to be listening, and merely sent me 12 (or was it six?) first-class stamps by way of "compensation".
Since then, I have had other letters sent by so-called "first-class post" go missing.
For important letters, I now either deliver the letter myself, or use Royal Mail Special Delivery '“ expensive, but, so far, reliable.
As regards the vagaries of email, I agree with Councillor Coomber's comments that email is not always reliable.

Hide AdSometimes, however, I find incoming emails from friends and relatives mysteriously appearing in my bulk mail folder.
Normally, I delete everything in the bulk tray, as it seems to be nothing but scams and adverts to enlarge specific parts of the male anatomy.
