LETTER: Great success of ambulance service
I was disappointed that your report on the South East Coast Ambulance Service did not focus more attention on the successful treatment and recovery of patients.
I was attended by the service on February 1 following a bad fall and resultant brain injury.
The first ambulance arrived while my wife was still talking to the oprator and a second arrived shortly afterwards.

I am sure there are numerous similar cases.
While I think it is correct to identify areas of weakness it seems wrong to ignore the great success of the ambulance service.
As my late father used to say, ‘One pat on the back is worth two kicks up the backside!’.
