More postal problems
Among the mail on Friday last was a card to say: “Unfortunately we can’t deliver your item because there’s a fee to pay. The sender didn’t pay the full postage – payment due £1.19.”
The Post Office, it seems, can deliver when they wish and meeting their required part of a contract to deliver a first class letter the next day can be broken, but still have the effrontery to ask for a payment.
