Hide AdEvidence would seem more and more to suggest that the warnings of the Remain campaign were far from the scaremongering Mr Jones continues to brand them.
The Leave campaign is now revealed to have consisted mainly of lies and it is increasingly the consensus that it is vital for us to have continued access to the single market. Thus, the emerging scenario for the future is that we pay more than now for continued access, having lost our special concessions, accept free movement so immigration continues at present levels and no longer have any say in EU decisions.
At this time, rather than continuing to whine about the Remainers, should not Mr Jones, assuming his weekly insights will continue in your paper, be turning his intellect to informing us mere mortals what it is that is so beneficial in leaving the EU that makes enduring this cost, pain and turmoil worthwhile.
Since their lies were exposed this is something that Leave supporters have signally failed to do.
