Thanks offered in tragedy aftermath
In particular, I would like to mention the two men at Littlehampton railway station who put up with the rudeness of one or two of the many stranded passengers.
I would also like to thank the young student who took us (myself and another lady, both in our 70s) under his wing.

Hide AdHe was a very caring young man and looked out for us until we finally got transport.
Maybe one of your readers would recognise his description and pass on our thanks. He is at Plymouth University and lives either at Rustington or Angmering. He is very tall and has red hair.
This young man, it transpired, had not enough money for a taxi, yet refused, point-blank, to let me pay for one for him.
I eventually got home at 9pm.
