Bexhill woman stars in Channel 4 programme
Emily Vincent was on The Fantastical Factory of Curious Craft on Sunday (June 14), hosted by Keith Lemon and Anna Richardson.
The four contestants - all amateur crafters - were given four hours to create a 'British expandable scene', which had to be important to them and placed themselves in it.

She said the project represented her and her 'wonderful memories of Bexhill'.
Afterwards, Emily said: "I was given a brief to create a ‘pop up scene' of a UK area that has a meaning to myself, also I had to include myself in the make, therefore I used the mannequin to represent myself and my memories of Bexhill-on-Sea ‘popping’ out my head.
"To create the piece I made paper flowers inspired by Manor Gardens, I included pop up seagulls, a small beach hut, sand and the back section is inspired by bexhill seafront made from materials.

"It was a crazy fast paced show, but it allowed creative people to run wild with their ideas, which is why I loved it."
After displaying their creations to Keith Lemon and Anna Richardson, Emily was one of three contestants chosen to advance onto the second half of the show to take on a 'celebrity commission', in which contestants were tasked with making a 1980s-themed hanging party centrepiece for Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.
