Dogs Trust Shoreham dog of the week: Meet Dom, a bright, young lurcher with bags of energy
and live on Freeview channel 276
Dogs Trust Shoreham staff say Dom is a fun and clever boy, at his best when given the opportunity to express his energy.
He especially enjoys enriching activities such as gnawing on a long-lasting chew, engaging in his training, exploring on his walks and most importantly, playing with his toys.

Hide AdToys are of huge value to Dom, the rehoming centre has found. Not only does he love to play, he also uses them as an outlet for coping with frustration or worry. He would love a big toy basket to choose from in his new home.
While Dom will need to be the only pet in the household, he is happy to live with teenagers over the age of 16 and it is essential that he has a garden of his own at home.
Quieter walks are needed so he can avoid bumping into other dogs unexpectedly. It would be better for him to gradually build up his social skills in controlled meetings and his carers at the Brighton Road centre have high hopes he will be able to have familiar walking buddies in the future
Dedicated owners who could offer Dom lots of their time, as well as some consistency, would be ideal. His trainers say he is making huge progress and they would love this to continue in the home.
