Residents told to keep clear as emergency services tackle fire in Bognor Regis road

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said: "At 10.30am we received 14 emergency calls alerting us to a fire in Shripney Road, Bognor Regis.
"Joint Fire Control sent four fire engines from Bognor Regis, Chichester and Littlehampton to the scene, as well as a command support unit.

Hide AdThe blaze took place at Waterfront Accident Repair Centre, a family run business with 45 years of experience in the area. Detailing their experience on Facebook, the owners posted a picture of an office cabin engulfed in flames, but made clear that all staff members escaped unharmed.
"We had a fire today,” owner said. “Just wanted to put it out there everyone who's in work got out of the flames safe and no one was hurt! That's all that matters!”
