The Onslow Arms at Loxwood starts its tree recycling service from today (December 30) for a £5 donation which will go towards funds for Loxwood Primary School.
Onslow Arms spokesman Rob Barr said the recycled trees will be enjoyed by resident Pygmy goats Barley and Hopps who will chomp their way through them long into the new year.

Said Rob: “It’s a great way to dispose of Christmas trees, without them going to landfill whilst raising money for Charity. Hopps and Barley will love chomping on the Christmas trees and ones they don’t chow down on will be used around our gardens.”
The pub’s tree recycling point will be open from today until Friday January 8.
