Plinth unveiled in September
The sculpture, entitled Alison Lapper Pregnant, by Marc Quinn will be unveiled at a public ceremony in the square on Thursday, September 15, at 12.30pm.
It is a sculpture of Alison when she was eight months pregnant and is one of two works selected from a shortlist of six other artists.

Alison commented: "I regard it as a modern tribute to femininity, disability and motherhood. It is so rare to see disability in everyday life - let alone naked, pregnant and proud."
She was awarded the MBE in the 2003 New Year's Honours List, and was born with a limb deficiency - she has no arms and only short legs.
Alison was given the award for services to art and is also a leading member of the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists group.
