Police called to Haywards Heath park

Sussex Police were called out to a Haywards Heath park yesterday (Monday) to help a distressed teenager.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Police went to Victoria Park shortly before 5pm on Monday, March 4 after a report that a teenage girl was in a distressed condition in the park.
“Officers found her before 5pm. She was unharmed and they took her to a place of safety.
“No offences had been committed.”
Three police cars were spotted at the park entrances in South Road.
