A neighbour claimed for the past two years the private house was being used for the production of drugs.
However on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, the property was cleared from front and back and equipment taken away in a hire van by three men.

Inspector James Scott, of Bexhill Police, confirmed officers went into the house at around 9.30pm and found what were believed to be remnants of a cannabis factory.
The resident who contacted the Observer said there had been complaints to Crimestoppers and Sussex Police during the last two years and yet “nothing had been done”.
The resident, who did not wish to be named, added: “It would be good to know why these calls weren’t acted upon to prevent a crop hitting the streets.”

He said: “We dealt with a previous cannabis factory in Cornwall Road, and if we’d had information on this we would have acted on it.
“Crimestoppers sends us information regularly and we do follow it up.”
