Half a million pound project to modernise Bognor Regis gardens
The scheme is designed to enhance the quality of the landscape, whilst retaining the features within the existing footprint of the site.
The design proposals will include removing the existing play area and relocating a new play facility within the space, creating a new southern entrance to the existing gardens and refurbishment of the planting borders.

Funding of £500,000 has been allocated for the project, which includes consultant’s fees.
The project was given the green light at Arun’s Full Council meeting last week.
Samantha-Jayne Staniforth, cabinet member for neighbourhood services at Arun District Council, said: “The sunken gardens are loved by many, but sadly anti-social behaviour has led to this area being underused in past years.
